Marching Band
The Hidden Valley Marching Band performs every Friday night during home football games at Bogle Stadium. The marching band is well known for their uniforms, performances, and high spirits at the football games.
The marching band practices every day after school with the flag crops. They practice their songs and dances on the soccer field to prepare for their half time performances at home football games. When the football games are away, while they might not perform during halftime, they still enjoy playing from the stands when our school gets a touchdown or if we win the game. The marching band represents our school pride by wearing their blue and gold band uniforms.
Members of the marching band have said that they love learning how to play their instruments, playing their music, and watch each other grow throughout the season. Hunter Thompson (10), one of the many band members, has been in the marching band since his freshman year, and stated that he joined because he “wanted to play at a higher level.”
The marching band is a welcoming and supportive community. They all love performing together whether it is at practice, in the stands, or during half time. They all enjoy being and playing together and every year they look forward to making friends with the new members.
