With prom season just around the corner, Hidden Valley students and staff are eager to learn the theme, location, and all the information about prom! Luckily you are in the right place that carries all the information you’ll need for the night of your life. After talking to Titan Voice sponsor Mrs. Webster, information was released about our 2025 prom. This year’s prom will be hosted at Hunting Hills country club under the theme Golden Hour on April 5th, 8pm-11pm. The after-prom will be hosted at the Salem launching pad.
Some of the biggest questions being asked from the student body are, “Why is prom so early this year?” or “Why did the location get changed?” When speaking with Mrs. Webster, I found some answers to the most popular questions. She stated, “Hunting Hills gave us the opportunity to have a little more with what we were paying, and they were easier to work with, so that was the shift. The date being earlier this year has a lot to do with the calendar. Sometimes the calendar can be a little weird; certain holidays that fall differently on different years which can cause some conflict which is why have it on the 5th this year.”
Another key topic for prom is after-prom. Many students have positive opinions on after-prom and the return of the launching pad. Students last year attended after-prom at the Salem launching pad, some even if they didn’t go to prom. Mrs. Webster said, “I think that these things are what is memorable about high school, more than the classes that you are taking. These are the things that stick with you for the high school experience.”
Going to school dances, social and sporting events, and other activities is something that we will remember a lot more than what classes we took. From the Titan Times staff, we are wishing all prom participants a fun and safe night!
