Hidden Valley High’s Home Coming is fast approaching! The theme will be Ancient Greece, and the HOCO dance will be held on October 12th in the main gym at HV. There are many things going into play for the preparation of this year’s Home Coming, spirit week, pep rally, and the parade.
Home Coming 2024 will hopefully be drastically better than last year! unfortunately, shoe selection will yet again be limited this year due to the HOCO dance being in the main gym. Music will be stepping it up, we will have Antoine Terrell from K92 radio as our DJ for the night of the dance. Students and staff are very interested in what they will do concerning décor, scenery, etc.
Many students have traditions that they do before and after HOCO. Most spend a few hours getting ready, going to take pictures, then go to dinner. Most students that were asked if they knew what they were wearing responded with “yes,” but followed with the fact that they do but they are still adding on finishing touches with accessories, hair styles, and shoe choices.
The HOCO parade will be held on October 11th down Titan Trail and Brambleton AVE. This will take place directly before the Home Coming game which will take place at home field (Bogle). The Mighty Titan Marching Band and color guard will march in the parade while some sports will also participate on the floats. Prior to the parade there will be a pep rally that Friday as well as a whole week of fun themes!
