After transferring from Cave Spring after his sophomore year, Zander Slough is incredibly involved at Hidden Valley, participating in several extra curricula activities. His highlight include FCA, FCCLA, and Varsity Baseball. Even though Zander will miss many different things and many people here at Hidden Valley, he said the person he would miss most is coach Hutchins, because of the impact he has had on him.
Zander’s whole life has revolved around baseball. He has played baseball since the age of six. He plans to attend Bluefield University in the Fall on an athletic scholarship. Bluefield is a small NAIA school in southwest Virginia. Outside of baseball, Zander’s second favorite thing to do is spend time with his friends. In fact, his advice to his fellow students is, “hang out with people, because you never know how much time you have left.”
Titan Times wishes Zander good luck at Bluefield this Fall and enjoy playing collegiate baseball.
