Hidden Valley took on William Byrd on Friday, September 1st, 2023, for their second away game of the 2023 season.
Hidden Valley Titans took on an unfortunate loss at Friday’s game, with the score being 47-7 and with one of the players being injured.
Titans football was confident in their abilities to win. The score being 21-7 in the first half with Japhon English scoring the only touchdown of the game, a comeback was thought to be made by Hidden Valley. However, the William Byrd Terriers continued to score and made it through Hidden Valley’s defense.
Coach Luckett (football) stated, “There is no good way to deal with loss. Its understanding that we have a lot of stuff to work on.”
Titan football team understands that they have a lot to work on. Already taking 2 losses at the start of the season. However, they are working hard to become better and stronger for the rest of this season to hopefully get some wins this year.

As their season continues, our players and coaches are working hard every day to accomplish a good season and keep up with the schools around us this year. Going further into the year, Hidden Valley is hoping to continue their hard work and hope that it pays off for this season and many more to come.
