Entering the 2023-2024 school year filled with new staff, the students welcome the new bookkeeper Ms. Greco to Hidden Valley. Although the students are sad to see Ms. Stamps go, they are eager to have a new face in the building.
Transferring from Franklin County, Ms. Greco embraces the much smaller size of Hidden Valley with a positive outlook. “So far I’ve noticed there’s not as much purchasing, and I had different accounts than I did at Franklin County so it’s a lot easier,” stated Ms. Greco.
Ms. Greco has enjoyed bookkeeping for most of her life and participated in a class in high school that drove her interest in the subject. She also hopes to someday have a bookkeeping type of class at Hidden Valley, so other students, like her, can find their passion.
Her favorite things about bookkeeping include being organized and building relationships with students.
“I feel like I’m kind of personable, and I like to help students,” said Ms. Greco enthusiastically.
Ms. Greco also hopes to modernize her bookkeeping duties at Hidden Valley. “Improving the bookkeeping app by adding more notifications, making it more personalized, and allowing accessibility for parents will be a gamechanger for Hidden Valley.”
Ms. Greco will be an important asset to the Hidden Valley staff, and the student body looks forward to having a long-term bookkeeper at the high school. She will combine her passion with her skills to aid the bookkeeping process with her new improvements through the app and ensure a smooth running year.
