As the 2024-25 spring season approaches the Hidden Valley Girls Tennis team is ready to showcase their talent, teamwork, and determination on court. They have welcomed many new students and are excited to show off their skills this year. As for the returning players, they are eager to continue to impress our titans with their skills.
There have been many new players including Claire Nieminen (9) who stated that, “The first year of tennis is definitely challenging but it’s encouraging me to work hard, to get better, and put forward my best effort”.
Other returning players include Lucy Lubeck (10) said, “One thing that tennis has taught me is that there is always going to be someone better than you and you have to thrive to do your best”.
As of for their first game the Tennis team will be their first scrimmage against Glenver High school on March 13, but their first game is on April 1 against William Bryd High School.
In conclusion, our tennis teams shows great teamwork and dedication. Despite challenges they may face like losing an important game, every player works hard to improve, and the future looks bright for the team. We are excited for this year’s team, and we hope on having as many people attended as possible
