Hidden Valley baseball has been doing good the last few years but this year they are looking to make a statement. Last year they lost to one of the best teams in the state only by one run. This year the players are dedicated to do good for the seniors that have been in the program for 4 years.
I interviewed 2 players one of them being Noah Womeldorf (10) and the other one is Slate Semones (12). The first question I asked them was, “What do you guys predict your in season record is going to be this year?”. Slate said, “I think we are going to be better then last year and go about 15-5,” Noah said, “we have a lot of talent if we stay healthy i think we go around 15-5”.
After that question I asked them, “What are your goals for this season?” Noah said, “We don’t want to lose a home game this year.” When slate was asked the same question he said “Stay together as a team and continue to work hard throughout the season.”
The last question I asked them was, “Do you guys think Hidden Valley baseball has a chance at winning a state title this year?” Slate said, ” I think we have a good chance of winning or going far as long as we are all healthy and get better as a team”. Noah said, “Yeah i think we have a chance if we play good”.
Hidden Valley baseball is going to be a fun team to watch. Everyone on their team has confidence they will have a great season and all have fun.
