As the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles gets closer on February 11, 2025, students at Hidden Valley High School are excitedly sharing their predictions for which team will win. Both students and staff are talking about the game and which team they think will come out on top.
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, the school is filled with discussions about football. Students are sharing their opinions on who will win, whether it’s their favorite team, a specific player they like, or just because they think one team has the edge. Through some interviews, it’s clear that everyone has their reasons for choosing a winner. Coach Weaver, Hidden Valley’s Athletic Director, shares that while he isn’t necessarily rooting for any specific team, he hopes that it will be a good, close game.
Some students are rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, excited about their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and the team’s powerful offense. Others are supporting the Philadelphia Eagles, impressed by their strong defense and quarterback, Jalen Hurts. Alex Batsaichan (12) has especially been watching the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes because of his incredible arm strength and ability to make plays on the move. He states how he is excited to see the outcome of the game. While he is not as excited by the Halftime Show this year, Batsaichan states that this is his favorite Super Bowl tradition.
The goal of these conversations is to show just how excited the school is for the Super Bowl. Whether it’s school pride or admiration for certain players, every student has a reason for picking their team. Everyone is looking forward to a thrilling game. As February 11 approaches, Hidden Valley High School is filled with excitement, ready to cheer for their chosen team. Will the Chiefs take home another victory, or will the Eagles fly high and win the championship? Only time will tell, but for now, the school is buzzing with anticipation for the big game.
