The NBA (National Basketball Association) is a very popular USA basketball league with the best basketball players in the world. Opening week is when all the teams start the season and play each other with the new rookies out of collage or returning players from last season. Boston Celtics were the NBA champions last year will they win it again this year?

I asked Steele Torrance and Lashaun (11), what teams they had going far into the playoffs. Steele replied with, “I think Boston Celtics or OKC will make it far.” Lashaun said, “Boston will win it again this year. This is an important topic to go over because winning the NBA championship is huge for the players on the team and the fans go crazy too.”

The next question I asked them was how they thought the rookies played on opening week. Lashaun (11) said, “They were all disappointing and none of them played how i thought they would”. Steele (11) answered like, “I think the first overall pick from France is really overrated, but everyone else was decent.”

The last question I asked was what player was the biggest help towards their team so far. Steele said that, “Paolo Banchero is leading his team he just had a 50 point game.” Lashaun thinks that, “Jokic is leading his team and playing a super valuable role for his team”.

This is the debate on the NBA opening week even though there is so much left of the season we have seen many things so far.
