On January 8th, 2024 Michigan University and Washington University played each other in the CFP National Championship in Houston, Texas, at NRG Stadium.
It was a close game with Michigan pulling ahead at the end. Michigan has one of the best running games in the country with a top 3 Wide Receiver.
Evan Cobb (9) said, ” I think that Michigan will win because they have better defense and offensive power.” “I think that Washington will win because they have Michael Pinex Jr as there quarterback,” Said Carter Dralle (9).
Michigan had beat top 5 rank Ohio state which is an exciting rivalry matchup and top 10 matchup against Penn State.
But Washington had beat top 10 rank Oregon both times in season and at the Pac 12 Championship.
“I think that they teams were even and that it was nice for there not to be a SEC team in the National Championship,” Explained Evan Cobb (9). Carter Dralle (9) explained,” I think that an SEC team should have been in it because it makes it exciting.”
Two weeks after Michigan won the Championship JJ McCarthy declared for the NFL predicted to be the 16th pick of the first round. Also, head coach Jim Harbaugh quit from Michigan and is now hired as the Los Angles Chargers Head Coach.
This was Michigan’s year to win and they did with everyone now leaving and will most likely not be the same team.
