On October 31, 2023, Josh McDaniel’s was fired from the Las Vegas Raiders for having poor coaching, not helping with the team, and the team going in the wrong direction with 3 losing seasons in a row.
McDaniel’s was generally bringing down the team while not helping the team win games and coach the players up.
They are 2-2 since firing McDaniel’s only losing to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins both having powerhouse offense and the Chiefs having a top 5 defense.
“Firing McDaniel’s was probably the best decision the Raiders Made this season,” said Evan Cobb (9). Carter Dralle (9) said, “They made the right decision because I like the raiders and they are doing terrible this season.”
“I think that Ben Johnson will become the Head Coach next year because currently he is on the top of their list,” said Evan Cobb (9). Carter Dralle (9) stated, “I think it will come down between Ben Johnson and Brian Flores.”
There have been many theories of players being traded away or them leaving the organization due to having McDaniels as the Head Coach and him being fired on the 31st of October.
“I believe that Devonte Adams will most likely get traded as a result in the firing with him not happy with the team for the way it has become,” said carter Dralle (9).
“I think that the team will crumble down until they can find a coach that can maintain the team all together, this will cause them to lose many key players including Devonte Adams with his ability,” said Evan Cobb (9).
These are all bad loses for the Raiders but they are making a comeback to having a 5-7 record currently and possibly having their first winning season in 3 seasons.
