Our Fault by Mercedes Ron is the third and final book of the Fault franchise. Nick and Noah’s story continues and is tested to see if they are truly meant to be together.
It’s been over a year since they broke up over Noah’s betrayal and Nick refused to forgive her after what she did. When they gather together for the first time since they broke up at their best friend’s wedding things between them are still nonexistent. Noah wants to sort through her problems with Nick because she can’t live without him, but Nick refuses to forgive her. When secrets from the night they broke up over a year ago came to light it changed all of their lives. When they have to deal with the consequences it forces Noah and Nick to come together. After a crazy thanksgiving between them, Noah decides to leave it all behind her. Noah attempts to move on by getting a new job and getting her life together while trying to put Nick behind her like he claimed to do with her.
When Nick and Noah decide to leave each other behind for good after more interactions, Noah gets hurt while moving into her new apartment and after a week of the pain still there, her best friend Jenna takes her to the hospital. When she is there, she gets an unexpected surprise and starts to panic. After having the time to process and decide what she wants to do she thinks about Nick. When a few weeks pass and after avoiding the subject she decides to tell Nick her news. When it doesn’t go as planned things get even more complicated for them and bigger decisions come their way along with ghosts from their pasts. The real question is if they are able to put their history behind them and work on their future or if they will forever let their past affect their future.
