On February 4, 2024, the Grammy’s, one of the most famous music award ceremonies, was held in Santa Monica, California.
This award ceremony, presented by the Recording Academy of the United States, recognizes outstanding achievements in the music industry. The event was hosted by comedian, Trevor Noah, for the fourth year in a row.
This year, big names like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, SZA, and Olivia Rodrigo were all nominated for Grammy’s.
Taylor Swift’s album, Midnights, won Album of the Year, making it her 14th Grammy. She also surprised her fans with the announcement of a new album called The Tortured Poet’s Department which will come out April 19th this year. Taylor Swift also broke a record by becoming the first artist to win four Album of the Year Grammy’s.
However, many fans are upset that Olivia Rodrigo, and other talented artists, did not win any awards for which they were nominated.
Other award winners include Miley Cyrus, who sang her winning song “Flowers,” SZA, Victoria Monet, and Billie Eilish.
Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Ice Spice were said to have the best outfits. Dua Lipa attended the show wearing a custom Courrèges and Tiffany & Co outfit and Miley Cyrus wore a custom Margiela outfit.
