Pop sensation, Sabrina Carpenter, released her new Christmas themed EP, fruitcake, on November 17th, 2023. On Sabrina’s last studio album, emails i can’t send, her most viral song was “Nonsense.” She remixed this song on December 7th, 2022, calling it “A Nonsense Christmas.” This song got lots of attention and left many fans wishing for a full Christmas album. Little did we know this would become the lead single for her new EP.
Sabrina Carpenter is a vastly growing pop artist, who even opened for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. She is known for her pop personality and pop songs. Her last album blew her career up and so did her emails i can’t send tour. Her new release, fruitcake, is her first Christmas EP. “A Nonsense Christmas” already had so many people excited and now this beautiful EP is getting the attention it deserves. This EP focuses on themes of love, heartbreak, and loneliness on the holidays.
This EP is all about Christmas and consists of six holiday pop songs. Fruitcake includes “A Nonsense Christmas,” “buy me presents,” “santa doesn’t know you like i do,” “cindy lou who,” “is it new year’s yet?,” and “white xmas.” The album is around 16 minutes long.
Sabrina outdid herself with this EP. I am a huge fan of her previous songs/albums and was very excited to have a Christmas themed EP. I absolutely loved “A Nonsense Christmas” and the rest of the songs on the EP did not disappoint. She is such a talented artist and knew exactly how to bring in the best Christmas vibes and get us ready for the holidays. I will be revisiting this EP every year to get me in the spirit. Her upbeat nature and entertaining lyrics are the perfect combination for a Christmas EP. I rate fruitcake 5/5 shields!
