Madison Beer released her second studio album, “Silence Between Songs” on September 15th, 2023. This is her first album following her debut album, “Life Support” in 2021. In the past year, Beer has released five singles off her new album including “Reckless”, “Dangerous”, “Showed Me (How I Fell In Love With You)”, and “Home to Another One”.
Beer is a very dedicated artist, writing and producing the full album with help from Jeremy Dussolliet, Leroy Clampitt, and Tim Sommers. “Silence Between Songs” is a beautifully sung 14 track album. This album has a 60’s pop feel to it and is very different from her debut album. The album was very carefully made with Beer working on it since the release of her first album in 2021.
“Silence Between Songs” has 14 smooth and stylish pop songs including “Spinnin”, “Sweet Relief”, “Envy the Leaves”, “17”, “Ryder”, “Nothing Matters But You”, “I Wonder”, “At Your Worst”, “Showed Me (How I Fell In Love With You)”, “Home to Another One”, “Dangerous”, “Reckless”, “Silence Between Songs”, and “King of Everything”.
This release is definitely her best and the improvement from her debut album did not go unnoticed. This album is beautiful and very authentic to Beer herself and you can tell just by listening. My only complaint is I don’t think that every song is that unique from one another. Overall, this is a very good album with my favorites being “Sweet Relief”, “Home to Another One”, “King of Everything”, and “Silence Between Songs”. I would rate this album 4/5 shields.
